With cricket outright betting, the first step is to choose which competition you want to bet on. You’ll then see a list of the teams competing and their odds of winning it.
Looking at the County Championship for example, each of teams in the league will have outright odds next to them. The favourite will have the shortest odds, followed by the second favourite and so on.
Once you’ve chosen your bet, it’s just a case of watching the action to see if you were right. If your team wins the title, you win your outright cricket bet. Betting on the outrights of the County Championship will be very different to betting on the outrights of the Ashes for example. With the County Championship there are 18 teams slugging it out over the season, whereas with the Ashes you only pick from two teams for your outright betting, with five matches in total across the series.
