Squash is one of the fastest-paced and skillful racket games out there and a fantastic sport to bet on. It was developed in both British private schools and prisons, around the early 1800s. Squash spread through the school system and then more broadly to become the popular, global sport it is today.
As squash is played around the world and as it features a granular scoring system, speed, dynamism and tactical depth, it’s an ideal sport for betting. With our comprehensive squash betting markets and our competitive squash odds, you’ll find everything you need to bet on squash right here at BoyleSports.

To make sure your squash betting stays responsible and fun, always make sure you gamble responsibly. You should ensure that you:
● Understand the squash match and tournament you’re betting on.
● Understand all the bets you’re making and how you win them.
● Set yourself a betting limit (a bankroll), and make sure you stop betting when you reach that limit.
● Never gamble with money you can’t afford to lose.
● Never gamble when you’re intoxicated or otherwise not in a clear frame of mind, such as if you’re overly emotional.
● Treat gambling as entertainment only and not as a way to try and consistently make money.
● Seek help if you think your gambling is becoming a problem for you.
How Do Odds Work on Squash?
Just as with all our other sports betting markets, you’ll see our squash odds written as fractional odds, like 5/1 or 10/1.
Odds of 10/1 mean that if you place a successful bet, you’ll win ten times your stake. If you made a successful £1 bet at 10/1, you’d win £10 back, plus your £1 stake for a total of £11.
Fractional odds often look more complicated than 10/1 – like 5/3 for example – but they always work in the same way. If you placed a successful £3 bet at 5/3, you’d win £5, for a total of £8 as your stake is returned to you. If you bet £1 at 5/3, and you won, you’d win £1.67. Plus your £1 stake would be returned to you, for a total of £2.67.
Take a look at these other examples of fractional odds and their payouts to make sure they’re clear to you before you place any bets:
For a stake of £1 at odds of 10/1, the winnings are £10, with the stake returned being £1, making the total winnings £11.
For a stake of £1 at odds of 5/1, the winnings are £5, with the stake returned being £1, making the total winnings £6.
For a stake of £1 at odds of 10/3, the winnings are £3.33, with the stake returned being £1, making the total winnings £4.33.
For a stake of £1 at odds of 21/10, the winnings are £2.10, with the stake returned being £1, making the total winnings £3.10.
For a stake of £1 at odds of 7/11, the winnings are £0.64, with the stake returned being £1, making the total winnings £1.64.
The squash odds we quote are a judgement of how likely a bet is to happen, such as a player winning a match. Bets that are thought more likely to happen will have shorter odds, whilst bets that are thought less likely will have longer odds.
We take a range of factors into account when calculating each of our squash odds, including:
● Player rankings and recent form
● Head-to-head performance history
● Fitness and injuries
● Playing style matchups
● Tournament pressure and conditions
Of course, the bookmakers don’t always get the odds of a bet happening right. If you think the odds are better than quoted, then you may have found a great value bet to place.
Tips for Squash Betting
Use our squash betting tips to get the most from your betting:
1. Understand the match and tournament format: Make sure you know a match or tournament structure (such as whether it’s best-of-three or best-of-five matches) before placing any bets.
2. Study player form: Look into each player’s recent performance and consider their strengths, weaknesses, and playing conditions.
3. Study head-to-head records: Analyse past matchups between players to identify any consistent trends.
4. Monitor fitness levels and injury news: Fatigue and injuries can significantly impact a player's performance. Check for any signs of physical strain and pay attention to news and rumours.
5. Explore underdog value In squash, upsets can happen, especially in tightly contested matches. Research lesser-known players who are in good form and who might outperform expectations.
6. Follow live matches: In-play betting lets you adapt to the flow of the game, making it a dynamic way to engage with the sport and take advantage of developments in play.
